 WORLD FOOD DAY


Some of the objectives of sustainable development are: end hunger, achieve food security and importe nutrition and promote agriculture.

World Food Day os celebrated on October 16 with the purpose of reducing hunger ni the world. In the least developed countries, such as South Sudan, they are very hunger and even a lot of people die from hunger every day.

The cause of hunger is poverty . Now  with the pandemic, the number of people with malnutrition has increased, this problem with the current economic crisis is going to increase more. Last year the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organisation warned that between 83 and 132 million people add to the number of malnourished people in the world.

This is a serious problem that we would have to solve. There are already many NGO helping countries like Nigeria fight hunger. If we all put our part in our side for sure that no one would have gone hungry, much less dying for it.
