Goal 4: Quality education

 Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) is the education goal. It aims to “ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.”

Still, 57 million primary-age children remain out of school, more than half of them in sub-Saharan Africa.

103 million young people worldwide lack basic literacy skills, and more than 60% of them are women

Worldwide, 6 out of 10 children and adolescents are not achieving a minimum level of competence in reading and mathematics.
